One of the projects for my illustration class had the students first reimagine a movie in a different genre, then create a reimagined movie poster for it. I decided to base my poster around the concept of Finding Nemo being a horror movie.
Based off the one scene in the movie where the characters encounter an angler fish. A scene that scared me quite a bit as a kid! Tried to make the characters more desaturated and lifeless looking to better fit the horror theme.
